Nelson-Atkins Art Museum Tour
Kansas City Ballet BARRE would like to invite you to join them for a tour at the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum—specially designed for you! Based on the KCB 2009—10 season, the tour “Dance in Art”, includes the African exhibit with its correlation to our performance of Lambarena and African traditions. Please come on this special tour on Thursday February 18. It’s FREE but you must sign up by February 16! After the lecture, all will be invited to happy hour at the Museum Café until 8 p.m.

BARRE Winter Happy Hour
(FREE FOR BARRE MEMBERS, $35 FOR NON-MEMBERS)
Come join the Kansas City Ballet in an entertaining night, beginning with a performance featuring  Val Caniparoli’s “Lambarena,” as well as Robert Hill’s “Piano Concerto #2” and “The Moor’s Pavane” by José Limón, at 7:30 p.m. at the Lyric Theatre (11th and Central). Then follow the fun and BARRE to Hotel Philips for drinks and appetizers at the BARRE Winter Happy Hour.

BARRE Spring Happy Hour
(FREE FOR BARRE MEMBERS, $35 FOR NON-MEMBERS)
Take a load off and join us for the BARRE happy hour at Hotel Philips with two drinks and appetizers plus valet parking. Then come on over to the Lyric Theatre (11th & Central) for the 7:30 performance of George Balanchine’s “Who Cares?” as well as “Donizetti Pas de Deux” by Todd Bolender and world premieres by Toni Pimble and Jessica Lang.
